I felt comfortable with Dave right from the first time that I contacted him. He was very patient in explaining his work and his philosophy about creating stringed instruments. Dave simply wants to make the guitar that a player wants and he strives to make that guitar to be the best that it can be. Dave was a great help when it came to making the choices for my guitar. He had the experience and the expertise to guide me without forcing his opinions on me. He also let me pretty much design the guitar myself. I was able to pick the kinds of wood, the body size, the neck width, the inlay pattern, the string spacing, the hardware, the binding, the bone nut, saddle, and bridge pins, and virtually everything else about the guitar.
