Since the introduction of the John Standefer Model, my focus has changed. I am primarily building guitars based on the JS Model.

Other variations of the John Standefer Model include one with the elimination of the Knee Tunnel, and one "no frills model" with no Knee Tunnel and a standard soundhole with the access panel eliminated.

The John Standefer Signature Series Guitar was first completed and featured at the 2010 Northwest Handmade Instrument Exhibit April 24 & 25, 2010, and the Chet Atkins Appreciation Society Convention July 2010 in Nashville.

I want to thank JB Allred of ALLRed Corporation, maker of Dragonplate for his support in formulating the Neck Reinforcement System for these guitars.
